Abstract

A mathematical model for studying ECE limiting currents and second-order ECE responses is developing the result of the electrochemical reactions at the rotating disk electrodes. An effective analytical method called the q Homotopy analysis method (q-HAM) has been used to solve the non-linear differential equations. Semi-analytical solutions for the concentration of species and the current responses are evaluated. The effects of different physical parameter values on concentration and current is calculated and displayed graphically. Also, the concentration and current expressions here obtained using q-Homotopy analysis method also in reasonable agreement with the numerical results and limiting case results.
