Coupled hybrid fixed point theorems in partially ordered metric spaces with applications

Abstract

We present a coupled fixed point theorem for partially compact operators on partially ordered normed linear spaces and apply to prove the existence of coupled solutions for nonlinear coupled functional equations defined on a bounded interval of real line. An example is also provided to illustrate the abstract theory developed in the present paper.
