Existence of solutions for some classes of parabolic problems involving variable exponents

Abstract

In this paper we prove some properties on the operator $-\Delta_{p(x)}(u) + |u|^{p(x)-2}u$ in order to use monotone operators theory to get existence of solutions for some classes of parabolic problems involving variable exponents.
