Constructing General Chebyshev Multiwavelets by Orthonormality and Vanishing Moments Conditions

Abstract

In this paper, we construct new wavelets on a bounded interval as Chebyshev Multiwavelets. First we define a pair of Chebyshev scaling function on a bounded interval which satisfies a two-scale matrix refinement equation then we compute its corresponding multiwavelets. We also extend this method to quadratic Chebyshev wavelets and to general order Chebyshev wavelets.
