A note on the unstable solutions of a class of difference equations

Abstract

The aim of this note is to obtain a very general input-output condition for the instability of the solutions of variational difference equations. In order to obtain an unified approach, we are using the the so-called sequence Schaffer spaces, which are translation invariant. Also, the obtained result generalize some results published a few decades ago by Coffman and Schaffer.
