The paradox of instantaneous propagation in the Schrodinger equation

Abstract

The Schr\"{o}dinger equation leads to the paradox of instantaneous propagation of energy which obviously is not true in reality. In order to overcome the paradox, it is assumed that a finite time lag exists between the energy flux and the corresponding energy gradient. This leads to the phase-lagged Schr\"{o}dinger equation, in which the paradox of instantaneous propagation of energy is no longer hidden.
