Analysis of a continuous tuberculosis model with smoking consideration

Abstract

In this paper, we propose a mathematical model that simulates the evolution of tuberculosis over time, considering the distribution of the population according to smoking criteria. We also collect some preliminary results, calculate the fundamental reproduction rate and study the stability of the free equilibrium point. In addition, we propose four control strategies. Finally, numerical results produced by Matlab confirmed the theoretical conclusions
