Abstract

This article provides a comprehensive overview of the literature concerning the applications of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). AHP, recognised as a valuable Multiple-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) tool, has demonstrated effective utility across various decision-making contexts. The article focuses on a specific subset of the diverse applications of AHP that may be of particular interest to both scholars and practitioners. Furthermore, the articlecritically evaluates several studies published in esteemed international journals, offering a succinct summary of numerous referenced publications. The papers are categorised based on suggested themes and their respective application areas. To capture the evolution of AHP applications, references are categorised according to decision issues and applied techniques. For ease of comprehension, the references are presented in several tabular formats, facilitating readers ability to extract immediate and pertinent information.
