Abstract

.This special issue (SI) is specifically targeted at the recently developed computational and mathematical techniques in various domains. Mathematically innovation models in a variety of engineering and management domains have been proposed. Diverse array of themes like Reliability, Operation Research, Multi-objective Optimization, Machine Learning, Fluid Dynamics, Software Reliability, Numerical Analysis, Supply chain, etc. have been covered in the articles, included in this collection. This SI consists of original, high quality and unpublished works which have been peer reviewed by the journal.
This SI comprises studies across various domains. Bhatia et al. [1] simulate traveling wave solutions of the modified regularized and regularized long wave equations (MRLW & RLW equations) using modified trigonometric B-spline functions in collocation method. Anand et al. [2] propose innovation diffusion models based upon time dependent growth behavior of the isolated potential adopter-domain of the adopter population. The proposed models have been validated on ACER PC and iPhone sales data sets and their inferences are quite promising. Guru Prasad et al. [3] worked on the adaptability and re-configurability of origami structures, exploring their dynamic nature. The study opens up new possibilities for innovation in the fields of biomedical devices, robotic actuators, and deployable structures by demonstrating how origami-inspired designs might improve their usefulness and efficiency. Prateeksha et al. [4] discuss the adverse effects of voltage unbalanced on the steady state performance of 3-Phase Induction Motor. The shortfalls of existing Power Quality index, namely voltage unbalanced factor, used for the assessment of performance of 3-Phase Induction Motor under the voltage unbalanced condition, are highlighted. Sarkar et al. [5] worked on the objective to reduce makespan and balance machine workloads. A model is developed for both problems, with minor modifications to accommodate the specific requirements. Additioinally, a numerical illustration is provided for both cases, and the effects of separable and non-separable setup times on performance criteria are statistically evaluated. Negi et al. [6] provide a quick overview of SVM, list several applications, draw attention to current issues and patterns, and point out some of SVM’s drawbacks in this essay. Tripathi et al. [7] presented some essential aspects of spectral methods and their application to obtain the numerical solutions of Partial Differential Equations. The proposed scheme is based on the spectral collocation of Lagrange and Techbychef orthogonal polynomials for both space and time integrations. Amandeep et al. [8] developed a mathematical model to study the flow of blood through a multi-stenosed artery under the influence of applied magnetic field and body force. Blood is considered as Casson fluid to represent the Non-Newtonian character of blood in narrow artery. The analytical expressions have been derived for axial velocity, core velocity, volumetric flow rate and wall shear stress. Singh et al. [9] put forth a model of predator-prey cooperation that produces herd dynamics and the Allee effect on the population of prey. Authors have investigated the Allee effect using temporal analysis. Singh et al. [10] presented the Generalised Modified Weibull testing effort-based software reliability growth model that quantifies the effect of an infected patch on multi-release software. Bisht et al. [11] proposed a new entropy measure specifically designed for intuitionistic fuzzy sets. The validation process verifies the efficacy of the proposed measure. In addition, specific case studied illustrated the practical applications of the proposed entropy measure in real-world multi-criteria group decision making as proposed measure has been integrated with TOPSIS methods. Sahool et al. [12] aimed at studying the stability mechanism of chemically reacting cross diffusive free thermosolutal convective flow in a horizontal layer of viscoelastic Maxwell fluid through porous medium with heat source effect. The chemical reaction is taken into account in the mass transfer equation. Verma et al. [13] focused on Petri Net modeling, a mathematical modeling tool used to model discrete event dynamic systems, to study the dynamic behavior of the Interleukin 17 (IL-17) signaling pathway. The study involves computational analysis including state space, deadlock sequence, reachability and behavioral properties in the Interleukin 17E signaling pathways. Sadiya et al. [14] computed the reliability function of a system which provides the determination of tail signature, minimal signature, and signature reliability. Furthermore, the system’s estimated life and system cost are also assessed. We also evaluate the hazard intensity index for the proposed system. Kaushik et al. [15] provided a comprehensive overview of the literature concerning the applications of the Analytic Hierarchy Process. The article focuses on a specific subset of the diverse applications of AHP that may be of particular interest to both scholars and practitioners.

Andreea V. Cojocaru et al. [16] provides the Artificial Intelligence and Human Consciousness: A survey. Boddu Muralee Bala Krushna1 [17], study the existence of multiple positive radial solutions to elliptic equations in (R1,R2).
Abdallah Brik et al. [18] present the Zero-Hopf bifurcation in a modified hyperchaotic Chen system. Jacson Simsen [19] investigate the Nonlinear nonautonomous math models for drug concentration in the body. Sudha Yadav et al. [20] present the Mathematical analysis of an SIQR model with non-linear incidence and saturated treatment rates. V. Ananthaswamy et al. [21] introduce A mathematical study on the transmission dynamics of Hepatitis A virus.
S. Jasmin Swetha et al. [22] investigate the Caputo-Fabrizio fractional neutral pantograph integro-differential system analysis with impulses.
