On the initial value problem of functional differential equations

Abstract

In this paper we provide sufficient conditions for the existence as well as the uniqueness of solution of general nonlinear functional differential equations. Our results will be obtained using suitable fixed point theorems. We give also some remarks about uniqueness theorem due to Dhage.
