Abstract

This paper deals with the model of a system of nutrient pool, algal population and the meiobenthic predators in stressed mangrove ecosystem. The model incorporates discrete time delay in the nutrient recycling term from dead algal population due to periodic supply of tidal water. The most important parameter i.e. output rate of nutrient is identified on the stability and Hopf bifurcation in this stressed ecosystem. In addition to the output rate of nutrient in this system predator consumption rate also influences the system dynamics.
