On the steady states of the general system of differential equations governing the movement of ALFLEX

Abstract

In this paper, the set of steady states of the general system of differential equations governing the movement of the ALFLEX reentry vehicle is evaluated and compared with the set of steady states of the simplified system of differential equations described in [10]. It is shown that for a certain combination of the control angles, the simplified system has a steady state, while the general system has no steady states.
