A Unified Monotone Iterative Technique For Parabolic Initial And Boundary Value Problems

Abstract

In this paper, considering the situation where the right-hand side admits a splitting of a sum of two monotone functions, one increasing and one decreasing, we study the classical solution of second order parabolic initial and boundary value problems (IBVP) by using coupled lower and upper solutions and conclude our results with several interesting remarks.
