Abstract

This article deals with a tri-trophic food chain model with Allee effect on prey species. The numerical results reveal that the introduction of Allee eect produces chaotic dynamics via Hopf and period-doubling bifurcations. It is observed that the Allee eect and predation rate of omnivore predator on plant population are responsible for the occurrence and control of chaotic dynamics of the system. It is also found that the increasing of predation coecient of plant plays an important role to prevent the emergence of chaos in the proposed model system. Our main objective is to nd the effects of predation rate of omnivore population and Allee eect on prey species on bifurcation and controlling chaos in this system, which may be useful for biological conservation. An extensive numerical simulations have been performed to validate our theoretical observations.
