Surfaces of finite type in Sl(2,R)

Abstract

In this paper, we prove DX = 2H where D is the Laplacian operator, X  the position vector field and H is the mean curvature vector field of a surface S in SL(2;R) and we study surfaces as graphs of functions in SL(2;R) which has finite type immersion.
