Modeling change point based multi release software with different fault debugging functions

Multi release concept of software has gained a lot of importance in the recent past. Several Software Reliability Growth Models (SRGMs) have been proposed in the literature on this aspect of modeling. There have been other class of SRGMs that have focussed on the idea of change point wherein; fault removal rate is not interminable over the whole testing procedure, but changes due to discrepancy in personal resources, defect density, changing the environment and testing schedule (called the change-point). In this present proposal, we have unified these two methodologies of modeling and proposed some new models. The models are further validated on real-life data set of software faults. The results of the proposed model show better fit and wider applicability.
