Abstract

In this paper,we present a formula in order to divide an angle into n-equal segments so that n could be any constructible real number on the interval, [2,1000]. The actual Arc length of a unit circle is then approximated by this formula. A novel approximate drawing method by a new algorithm is given for the division of an angle by the Straightedge and Compass. Computations show good agreement between the actual length and the novel formula approximation. The presented method in this paper is compared with the well-known methods of multisecting angles. Constructible numbers have also been discussed in light of our current findings.
