Abstract

The resonance behavior of the dissipative system with a limited power-supply coupled with the nonlinear absorber is investigated. The interaction of the nonlinear vibration modes in this system in the resonance case is considered. Transformation to the reduced system stated with respect to the system energy, the arctangent of the amplitudes ratio and the phase difference is used. The analysis of the reduced system permits to describe transfer from unstable vibration modes to stable ones. Cases of external resonances on fundamental frequencies and a case of simultaneous external and internal resonances are considered. The so-called transient nonlinear vibration modes existing only for some specific values of time are identified.
